Terms and conditions of sale
1. Purpose
These general conditions govern the contractual relationship between Ferrero Franck and any person making a booking on the website Chez nous en corse.
2. Booking and Deposit
The booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit of the total rental amount.
This deposit can be paid by credit card via Stripe, cheque or bank transfer.
In the case of payment by cheque or bank transfer, the amount must be received within 10 days of the booking date, failing which the rental will automatically be made available again.
3. Rental Contract
A seasonal rental contract is sent to the Tenant upon booking.
The contract must be returned signed and initialled, along with the deposit, for the booking to be definitively validated.
The Owner will return the signed contract once the deposit has been received, thereby confirming the booking.
If the signed contract and deposit are not received within the stipulated time, the booking will be cancelled without notice.
4. Balance Payment
The remaining balance must be paid 5 days before the arrival date or upon arrival, according to the terms defined in the rental contract.
Non-payment of the balance on the agreed date will result in cancellation of the booking and loss of the deposit.
5. Cancellation and Refund
The cancellation and refund conditions are defined in the rental contract.
In general, the deposit remains with the Owner in the event of late cancellation.
6. Security Deposit
A security deposit of €500.00 may be requested on arrival and returned within 15 days after departure, less any repair or cleaning costs.
7. Use of the Property
The accommodation is rented exclusively for holiday residential use and may not under any circumstances be used for other activities (parties, events, etc.) without the prior consent of the Owner.
The Tenant agrees to respect the property and to immediately report any damage.
8. Liability and Insurance
The Owner cannot be held liable for loss, theft, or damage to the Tenant's personal belongings.
The Tenant is required to take out civil liability insurance for the duration of their stay.
9. Disputes and Jurisdiction
In the event of a dispute, the competent court will be that of the location of the rented property.
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
10. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming the booking and signing the rental contract, the Tenant accepts these General Terms and Conditions without reservation.
